Working in Residential Halls is extremely fun and challenging. You can make a real difference in the lives of students by providing them with educational programming, academic support, helping skills, and a safe comfortable place to live. This portal contains information on how to become an RA/CA, as well as, tools to help current RAs influence the students around them.

We are currently accepting applications for the Resident Assistant (RA) and Community Assistant (CA) positions for the 2013-2014 academic year. Please read the following position description(s) and if interested in applying, click on the appropriate link below to access a Word document or PDF. Applications must be turned in by NOON on Friday, January 25th to the Housing Services office on the garden level of Moody Towers, to a Residence Life Coordinator, or the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life in the UC.
Resident Assistant – This position description is for candidates looking to serve as an RA in Cougar Place, Cougar Village 1 & 2, Moody Towers, and the Quadrangle (Bates, Law, Settegast, Taub).
Apartment Resident Assistant – This position description is for candidates looking to serve as an Apartment RA in the Bayou Oaks Residence Halls or Calhoun Lofts.
Bayou Oaks Community Assistant – This position description is for candidates looking to serve as a CA in the Bayou Oaks Townhouses. Applicants for this position must be affiliated with a Greek organization and if selected, will be placed in the townhouse where their chapter is assigned on or after March 1, 2013.
